This is a black-ground, six-panel kinran obi (brocade obi). There are fold lines, but it is clean with no stains or signs of wear. The pattern is made with gold thread and features musical instruments, mandarin ducks, phoenixes, auspicious motifs, and snow-wheel patterns.
