This is a set of kimono and hifu (vest) for a girl for Shichi-Go-San (the traditional Japanese celebration for children aged three, five, and seven). The kimono was custom-made, but the hifu was a gift and has some fading in places. It's not very noticeable depending on the lighting, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the wear and tear. The kimono has been let down (the hem has been lowered). Approximate sizes are: Length: Approximately 92cm Sleeve length: Approximately 42cm Sleeve length: Approximately 56cm The pattern is a classic design featuring wisteria, peonies, fans, and mandarin ducks. Both items were stored in a chest of drawers with insect repellent paper in a tatou-gami (a special paper wrapping for kimonos). They were only worn once when the child was 3 years old. I would be happy if there is a child who would wear them, as it would be a shame for them not to be used. Please consider purchasing them.
