I have deconstructed a kimono purchased here, washed it (in a washing machine with detergent for delicate items), and ironed it before remaking it into a wrap dress. The edges of the skirt are left as selvedge for an accent. I believe the material is wool, but I can't say for sure. Stains, creases, and discoloration from when it was purchased remain. This is a handmade item. I hope that those who understand this will purchase it. Please read my profile. ^_^
