This is a ceramic piggy bank of Cho Hakkai, a character from Osamu Tezuka's "Journey to the West" (悟空の大冒険), which was popular in the Showa era and was made into an anime that was discontinued midway. It's a non-sale item, and a rare find that's not often seen even when searching online. When I was a child, I saw this piggy bank displayed at my mother's parents' house and asked for it. It was a precious piggy bank that I received from my grandfather. I've been displaying it, but I'd like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it, so I'm putting it up for sale.
