I've used this as a gym and commuting bag for about a year. There's a tear in the top compartment and a small hole (about the size of a pencil lead). Small items might fall into the middle compartment, but it's not a problem if you store shoes or a weightlifting belt there. The button on the upper right small item compartment is broken, so it can't be used.
