(It seems to vary depending on the persimmon tannin!) It has a slightly firm finish. The persimmon tannin deepens its color by basking in the sun. When washing, hand wash and hang to dry outside are recommended. Please enjoy the antique feel with its unique astringency. Since this is amateur dyeing work, there are uneven spots. There is also the unique smell of persimmon tannin. For those who appreciate that as part of its character... I am using an old yukata. I have repaired any damage or weakened areas in the fabric. There is a stain on the skirt part. (Photos 5 and 6) As this is a handmade item by a beginner, there may be uneven stitches, but I put my heart into making it, so please understand. I do not recommend this to those who are looking for perfect sewing or ready-made products. I would be grateful if you would view it with a warm heart.
