The noshi paper (decorative paper) features the Nizaemon family crest, a double bar within a circle. It includes the ginkgo crest of the Matsushimaya family and the "ni" and "za" from Nizaemon's name. The number of bars in the lattice, 10 and 5, represents the 15th generation. Although brand new and unused, it has been stored for a long time. There are no stains on the hand towel itself, but the noshi paper has deteriorated due to age.
