The colors may appear different from the actual product due to the lighting. I think the last photo in the 8th image is the closest to the actual color. This is a set of two. The first one is shown in photos 2-4, and the second one is in photos 5-8. Both have what appear to be chips on the inside, but this is how they originally were. My teacups are about this size, but these are smaller than typical teacups, so I think they could also be used as sake cups. Both have cracks throughout, which is a characteristic "blue crackle" pattern of Ohori Soma ware. To make the "blue crackle" pattern stand out, a technique is used where ink is intentionally rubbed in and then wiped off with a cloth. The first one (photos 2-4) has the kiln mark of "Suetoku" on the bottom, but the second one (photos 5-8) has the mark "Soma" on the outer pattern, so it may be a work from a different kiln. Neither of them are recent. They were found in a cupboard wrapped in newspaper. They are unused. I'm a little hesitant to sell them, so I may take them down. The two are slightly different sizes.
