Based on my personal feeling, the reeling is smooth, with no gritty or scratchy feeling. There are some scratches, so please check the photos. *The noticeable scratches are the marks on the bottom of the main body in images 6 and 7, and the marks on the handle cap in image 8. Both have some paint peeling. No box or instruction manual. The line is a bonus, but if you don't need it, please let me know at the time of purchase and I will dispose of it.
