Tankichi Fishing Hooks has a tradition of over 240 years since its establishment in 1781 (Tenmei 1st year), and manufactures fishing hooks specializing in the forging, hand-hammering, and handcrafting techniques of Japanese swords. It is the world's oldest fishing hook manufacturer. Currently, they are sold for 500 to 800 yen per bag. The size 15 eel hook is actually size 17 due to a labeling error.
