sE electronics DM1 DYNAMITE The sE electronics DM1 DYNAMITE is a very slim active inline preamp. It boosts the signal from a passive microphone by +28dB. It has been used very little. ※The DM1 is a product for passive microphones (dynamic and ribbon). It cannot be used with microphones that require phantom power (condenser and active ribbon). Also, to drive the DM1, a preamp/mixer/audio interface that supplies 48V phantom power is required separately. The DM1 DYNAMITE is a very slim active inline preamp that, when placed between the microphone and the mic pre, provides +28dB of clean and transparent gain to any passive microphone (dynamic/ribbon). With its sophisticated Class A design and specially selected excellent FETs, the DM1's output impedance is very low, resulting in noise levels nearly half that of other commercially available products. In addition, the specialized buffer amplifier ensures a constant 28dB of gain regardless of the connected load.
