The Czech Republic is famous for Bohemian glass, and with that technology, artificial gemstones using glass were manufactured in the 18th century. These are luxurious bijou buttons using rhinestones born from such history. Made by artisans using traditional methods in Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic, a town known as a production center for long-established glass and jewelry, which prospered in glass and artificial gemstone manufacturing. These buttons are made by welding individual rhinestones from the back. Because they are handmade, the shape may be irregular or the left and right sides may be distorted, but strangely, the distortions that are noticeable in the photos look properly aligned when you actually hold them in your hand, and the slight distortions don't bother you as a unique characteristic. Rather, you will be captivated by the beauty of the glass. These are vintage items, imported from the Czech Republic.
