This is a reversible vest. I mainly wore the navy side on the outside, so there is some rubbing on the button area of the navy side. The zebra pattern side has some pilling around the collar and hem, but I believe both sides are fine for wearing. It's more compact than down or fleece materials and I was able to wear it for a long time into early spring.
