This is a reversible vest. I mainly wore it with the navy side out, so there is some wear on the button area of the navy side. The zebra-striped side has some fuzzing around the collar and hem, but I think neither side will cause any problems when worn. It's more compact than down or fleece, and is perfect for this time of year leading up to mid-winter. I was able to wear it for a long time, until early spring.
