This is a genuine Joy-Con charging stand. There are cheaper charging stands on Amazon and elsewhere, but I was personally uneasy about using anything other than the official product, so I used this one. I bought it, but it mostly ended up being a place to put the Joy-Cons since I rarely docked them to the Switch itself, so I hardly ever plugged and unplugged them.
