Set of 3 black lacquered square boards (30cm). These were received as a gift and have been stored. There are small square holes (recesses) in the four corners, and they are likely intended to be used as the top or bottom boards of a shelf. There are no supports. Based on the shape, they may be part of a knockdown shelf, such as a tea ceremony "Koyoshi-dana" (a type of shelf). The intended use is unknown.
