This is a 35mm Summicron lens for Leica R, a favorite of mine for cinema use. Judging by the serial number, it's a German-made lens from the peak of the R mount era in the 1980s. It's one of the best Leica R lenses, a top-tier choice among vintage lenses used in digital cinema. Originally an R mount, it has been converted to Nikon F mount, and then further adapted with a Canon EF mount adapter. I've used it with various Canon Cinema EOS cameras (5D, 7D, 1DC, C300, C500, C300 Mk II), RED cameras (One MX, Epic, Helium, Komodo, V-Raptor), Sony Cinema Line cameras (FS7, FX3, FX6, Venice 1), Arri cameras (Alexa Mini, Amira, Mini LF), and Blackmagic cameras (Pocket 4K, Pyxis 6K) using different mount adapters. It was invaluable for leveraging image quality and character without the budget to rent top-level PL lenses from equipment rental houses, which can cost tens of thousands of yen per day. It can be used directly or with various adapters to fit most cameras. The front diameter is 77mm, and it has a focus gear from Duclos Lenses, allowing for smooth follow focus operation. The condition is as shown in the photos. The appearance is somewhat rough... There is some dust and debris inside. There are also what appear to be wiping marks on the front and rear elements, but there is no fungus, and the image quality is not affected. I think it's in pretty good condition. The focus helicoid and the aperture ring both operate smoothly. You can use it as is with Arri, RED, SONY, Canon, etc. You can also upgrade it further with products from companies like Simmod. Or, you could spend nearly a million yen to have it rehoused by ZeroOptik, TLS, or GL Optics. This is a used item, so please understand that it is non-refundable and non-returnable. - Focal Length: 35mm - Maximum Aperture: f/2.0 - Filter Diameter: 77mm - Country of Manufacture: Germany - Accessories: Lens cap Other features...
