From the Netherlands... * ♡ Old ornaments made of thick cardboard. Their cookie-like shape is adorable, and I'm introducing them because I think they'd be great for decorating for the upcoming Valentine's Day and Easter! The branches and small red berries give a cozy, wintery feel (* ◜◡◝*) ♡ These are very old, dating back to the early 1900s, and were made for Christmas. Apparently, because people weren't wealthy at the time, they couldn't afford glass ornaments, so they made them out of paper. The base color is a creamy, calm white. They're hardened with a white, sugar-like material ✵ * ✵ * As I hold and look at the ornaments, I think about the old times... the background of when these were made. They look like they've been sprinkled with granulated sugar, simple yet sparkling...♩ The nostalgic atmosphere is charming and lovely (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)⁠⁠✧⁠*° size: approx.
