Arita-yaki (Arita ware) Old Handmade Serving Dishes, Set of 5 Please refer to image ④ for measurements. These dishes are shaped like bamboo split in half lengthwise. They resemble the plates used in high-class restaurants, perfect for serving single dishes and creating a luxurious dining experience. The patterns are very beautiful, with auspicious motifs of plants, trees, and sparrows (birds) in gold, indigo, and vermilion. ⚠︎ There are soil marks, scratches, and black spots on the foot rims, which are characteristic of pottery. I believe these are from the manufacturing process. Please refer to the images. The dishes themselves appear to be in very good condition.
