Designer and founder Kiminori Morishita is from Hiroshima Prefecture. After working as a chief designer for several brands at an apparel manufacturer, he launched "kiminori morishita" as an in-house brand in 2002. He held runway shows in Tokyo and later in Paris in 2007. The collection was sold in approximately 70 stores in about 20 countries worldwide.
