TIMEX analog dial, military-style watch with a nylon band. Purchased as a used item, the battery was replaced with a new one in December 2024. There is a scratch on the red circle in the 7th photo. Developed during the Vietnam War, the hand-wound disposable watch was designed to withstand use in the field and did not require repairs or battery changes. It was highly practical due to its visibility and robustness. After the war, demand for commercially available watches with these necessary features increased, and TIMEX began selling the "Camper," a military watch based on the US military specifications, in the 1980s. This re-edition is based on the "Camper" released in the 1980s. While a quartz movement is used because the hand-wound movement of the time is no longer manufactured, the exterior, such as the domed plastic crystal, dial, and case, faithfully reproduces the original watch using modern technology like 3D printers.
