This is a product from "Ise-辰," a company that started in 1864 at Kanda Moto-Iwai-cho (present-day Iwamoto-cho) as a publisher of chiyogami (decorative paper) and toy pictures. This is a stacking box that makes good use of the diamond shape. With its geometric shape and chiyogami, it's a popular souvenir for overseas visitors.
