Thank you for viewing. This is amethyst from the Takatori mine in Ibaraki Prefecture, self-collected. It has a shape that makes you want to call it "matsutake crystal"... but it's a bit suspicious. The size is about 1cm. This locality itself has been almost completely mined out, and the production of quartz is decreasing, so please consider it if you are collecting domestic minerals.
