This denim fabric is slowly woven on an old-fashioned power loom, also known as a shuttle loom. Because it is woven at a very low speed, 1/10 to 1/20 the speed of modern looms, the unevenness of the cotton yarn remains, creating a good kind of uneven texture. Without being swayed by trends, these jeans are finished as a pair that you can use for 10 or 20 years, truly a "lifetime item." Please note that the jeans will shrink by 2-3% after washing.
