This is a sake set (tokkuri and guinomi) of "Ohori Soma-yaki," a traditional craft of Japan produced in the Ohori district of Namie, Futaba District, Fukushima Prefecture. Although it was a set, I am selling one tokkuri and two ochoko because that's all my wife and I need for our evening drinks. Ohori Soma-yaki Features: * Kannyu (crackle): A crack-like pattern that spreads across the surface of the vessel. * Hashiri-goma (running horse): A horse design painted on the vessel, originating from the "Goshinme" (sacred horse) depicted during the Soma Nakamura clan era. * Nijuyaki (double-walled): A unique technique where the vessel has a double-layered structure, providing excellent heat and cold retention. Skilled techniques are required for its production.
