These are red-lacquered geta (Japanese wooden clogs). The monotone sayagata (key fret) pattern and the red thong are stylish. Because only the top is lacquered, they are not overly cute and can be worn with a mature look. I wore them once outside, so there are some minor scratches. Please check the images. They are a wonderful pair to wear with a yukata... or even with tsumugi or komon, like casual zori (sandals). Approximate measurements: 23.5 cm long, 1.5 cm toe height, 4.5 cm heel height, 8 cm width. I usually wear 23.5 cm shoes, and these fit perfectly.
