This item was stored in my parents' house. I believe it's from the early Showa era. It's a very beautiful fabric with a wine-red and bluish-gray striped pattern, overlaid with blurred black stripes. I think it's silk, but I'm not certain. Unfortunately, there are small holes in both sleeves, and along the seams of the lapel and the body, there are holes that look like they were made when the garment was altered. There are also signs of mending. The pattern is a bit dizzying, and there may be other imperfections. I am offering it for repurposing. It has been cleaned and stored for a long time.
