This is a kogo (incense container) made by Shogetsu Yoshimuki of Yoshimuki ware. The size is approximately 9.5 x 5.5 cm. My great-grandmother, who was born in the Meiji era, had been practicing tea ceremony since she was young, and she kept this item. It is old, but there are no chips, and I think it is beautiful considering its age.
