I purchased it as a spare for myself and kept it stored in a dark, indoor location. As those looking for it will understand, an unused left-handed, high-gear model is quite rare. I lightly turned the handle, and the winding feel is smoother than the Beast I own, so subjectively, I think it's a really good individual unit for an Abu reel. Although it is unused, it has been in someone's possession, so if you are a sensitive person who is concerned about minor scuffs on the box, please refrain from purchasing to avoid any trouble.
