I will also include a handmade, text-based, rough disassembly/replacement procedure for the MG3630/3530. ＜How to identify paper feed problems caused by roll deterioration or wear＞ If the problem is "paper feed failure due to roll deterioration or wear," it can be fixed by replacing the roll. Place a single sheet of paper in the paper tray, and while gently pushing the back edge of the paper in the feeding direction, instruct the machine to copy or print. If it copies or prints without problems, it's almost certainly "paper feed failure due to roll deterioration or wear." In other words, if you can assist the paper feed by hand, it's likely "paper feed failure due to roll deterioration or wear." There are other causes of paper feed problems, but about 90% of the machines I've recycled have "paper feed failure due to roll deterioration or wear." If you hear a "crack" or "scratching" sound like plastic breaking during the initial power-on operation, it's a paper feed failure due to mechanical damage.
