Ajrakh is a traditional Indian fabric, a type of block print, made by the 'Khatri' community in Gujarat, India. They use hand-carved wooden stamps with motifs of Islamic flora, applying them by hand to layer colors and patterns. Because it is hand-printed, the atmosphere of the fabric may vary from the images or from fabric you have purchased before, due to the natural dye composition and the way the woodblocks are pressed. There may be color unevenness, bleeding, weaving flaws, and a strong smell of dye, but this is the unique texture of handmade items using natural dyes. The thickness of the fabric may also vary depending on the lot. Color fading may occur, so please wash separately from other laundry. Avoid leaving it wet with light-colored items for a long time.
