Sawai Soyaoshi (Real name: Jojiro) Born in Nagoya City in 1921 Studied under Suiken Suzuki and Seiran Oike in 1945 First selection for Nitten in 1954, and selected for 8 consecutive years thereafter Received the Semi-Grand Prize at the Mainichi Exhibition in 1961 Became a judge for the Mainichi Exhibition Chairman of the Tokai Calligraphy Art Institute in 1973 Vice Chairman of the Tokai Calligraphy Art Institute in 1979 Founded the Mumeikai in 1994 Chairman of the Tokai Calligraphy Art Institute in 1996 Died in 2004 at the age of 85 Thank you for viewing. The calligraphy was not written directly on the folding album, but rather the paper it was written on has been pasted onto the album (a total of 57 sheets of paper are pasted on the front and back of the album). There are about 6 tears in the paper, as shown in photos 18 and 19. (Please check photos 18 and 19) (I apologize if I have overlooked anything else).
