This is a stuffed armadillo that was won in a prize from Meiji Seika about 50 years ago. It is a non-sale item, so the number in circulation is small, making it a very rare item. It has the Meiji tag. Due to long-term storage, there is deterioration due to aging. In particular, there is damage from insect bites on the claw area (please check the photos). It seems that this series is prone to similar deterioration in this area. In addition, the eyes and nose are in good condition, and there is little overall shape loss, so I think it is in relatively good condition considering its age. In the last few decades, I have only occasionally aired it out and have not touched it much.
