This is a small Taracea inlaid box made in the workshop of Miguel Laguna in Granada, Spain. Taracea is a traditional inlay technique that involves embedding wood to create geometric patterns. I purchased this approximately 40 years ago when I traveled to Spain. It's old, but it has been stored in a closet for a long time, so there are no noticeable stains or scratches.
