I received it as a gift in February 2016, purchased from Mitsukoshi Isetan. Due to its high price and the fact that I already had a knife I was used to, I haven't had a chance to use it and have stored it for a long time. There are scratches and stains on the handle (especially the butt of the handle), but I don't know if they are due to deterioration or if they were present from the beginning. The condition is as shown in the photos. Please be aware of other minor scratches and stains. The box is deteriorated.
