This camera is a half-size AE camera, which was originally the Olympus Pen EE early model released in August 1961, with a fixed shutter speed of 1/60 second. It was improved in May 1962 to have two speeds, 1/30 second and 1/250 second. Furthermore, in 1966, the take-up spool slit was increased, and it was sold as the Olympus Pen EE-EL (Easy Loading). It functions well. There are no particularly noticeable scratches or stains on the body. The light-sealing felt on the body has been replaced, but it's a DIY job. The exposure meter generally works normally for a 60-year-old device. The red flag also works without issue. The manual aperture used for flash photography works as indicated by the orange lettering on the aperture ring. The lens is generally clear. There is a slight haze visible in the viewfinder. The L-shaped bracket is a general-purpose item, and the non-slip rubber has hardened and lost its shape, but it can be used without any particular problems. The strobe is a National Auto Pana PE-2001, which allows for auto flash from the strobe itself. It has a guide number of 20 at ASA 100. It is compatible with both hot shoe and cold shoe, and the terminal insertion part of the sync cord on the bottom of the main unit serves as a switch. Test firing is done by contacting the sync cord terminal to the metal nub on the back of the shoe. There are quite noticeable scratches and stains on the exterior. The lens cap is an Olympus genuine product, but not specifically for the Pen. It is a little loose, so tape has been applied to the inner and outer circumference.
