Along with an introduction to the history, there are detailed photographic explanations of how to make them, and many full-size embroidery patterns are included, so you can actually make them. From what I can see, it doesn't seem too difficult, and I think the materials are easy to obtain (personal opinion). The antique embroidery patterns are all very cute designs just to look at, and it seems like they could be applied to various things other than shoes. 21 x 29.5 cm, all color, 64 pages There are no noticeable scratches or stains, and it is in a clean condition, but there are slight scuffs on the four corners of the cover, as shown in images 13-16.
