It's 100% wool, but the neck area is made of cotton and polyester, which reduces the scratchy feeling that high-neck sweaters can sometimes have. It's very warm due to the 100% wool and thick feel. I've worn it several times, so there is some: ・Pilling ・Fuzzing typical of knitwear. I've worn it 2-3 times, and there is some pilling. There's no stretching or other damage, so I think it's still a piece you can wear.
