This is a matcha bowl, also known as a chawan, made by Seiwa-gama, one of the Kyoyaki (Kyoto-style pottery) kilns. It features a crackle glaze (kannyu). It was stored in the storage room of my parents' house. It is unused. I only took it out to take photos. The original wooden box is inscribed with "Old Crackle Glaze" in sumi ink (see photo 12). It comes with the original wooden box and a cloth (with a stamp). "Seiwa-gama" is the same as: "Hara Seiwa Toen - Kyodo Kumiai Sumiyama Toge, Kyoto, Uji, Sumiyama, Kyoyaki Pottery Studio "Hara Seiwa Toen" (Hara Seiwa Toen)" Size: Diameter 13.3cm, Height 8cm Please allow for some minor errors. The original wooden box was packed tightly with wood shavings. Because of this, the lid is slightly raised. Also, the cloth was placed at the bottom of the box, and it has some stains due to aging.
