Unused since being made into a han-eri (collar). Made from a crimson antique nagajuban (long undergarment). The outer fabric was in very good condition, but there were issues with the lining. Taking it apart, washing it, and replacing the lining would be expensive. But the outer fabric is really beautiful. (Of course, you could find imperfections if you compared it to new fabric. But it's very clean for a used item.) After consulting with a shikkaiya (kimono specialist), I decided to have it professionally cleaned, replace the sleeves with removable ones, and then disassemble the rest to make obiage (sash scarves), han-eri, and small accessories. It has already been professionally cleaned. This is a han-eri. I couldn't cut it neatly because I'm not good at using pinking shears. The width is 17 to 18 cm. The length is about 109 cm. Even without the gold, the pattern is lovely.
