This is an 8-sun Nagoya obi from my mother's dresser, dating back to the Showa era. It has been carefully and neatly stored, but has been used a few times, and there is a faint stain on the side seam of the obi (see photos). The obi fabric is off-white ro (a type of silk gauze), with a light blue ivy pattern embroidered on it. I am currently enjoying remaking my own and my mother's kimono. I have remade about 20-30 garments, and I wear them with deep emotion, feeling "the texture of silk and the memories I'm wearing." For elegant and cool summer attire!
