“Kazahana-bachi” (Snowflake Bowl) by ceramic artist Minoru Nakayama, active at Kuresaka no Mori Pottery Studio in Kusatsu Village, Gunma Prefecture. The white glaze pattern evokes the image of kazahana (snow flowers). The pale green brushstrokes within the white resemble the flow of wind, perfectly embodying the "Kazahana-bachi." Acquired over 30 years ago. No longer available for sale.
