I wore them twice for my commute on heavy rain days, and my socks didn't get wet at all; these sneakers have excellent waterproof function. They are light and easy to wear, and the drawcord allows you to adjust the fit. There is some wear and minor dirt, but they are still in good condition and can be worn.
