He develops an ambitious sound influenced by a wide range of artists, from his roots in improvisational music and classical music to Miles Davis and Ornette Coleman, as well as Frank Zappa and Squarepusher. Produced by Jeff Babko on keyboards, with many West Coast top-tier musicians participating, including David Binney (Sax), Tim Lefebvre (Ba), and Vinnie Colaiuta (Dr). Dan Rosenboom Daniel Aaron Rosenboom, also known as Dan Rosenboom, is a Los Angeles-based trumpeter. Born in Berkeley, California in 1982, he is the son of David Rosenboom, an experimental musician known as a pioneer of biofeedback music (music that converts brainwaves and eye movements into electrical signals and then into sound), and a singer and visual artist. He began playing piano at the age of 5. Later, he switched to the trumpet and received classical training, attending the Eastman School of Music in New York, UCLA, and the California Institute of the Arts. He gradually became more involved in improvisational music, releasing "Book Of Omens" (2013) from Nine Winds Records in Los Angeles. In 2014, he established his own label, Orenda Records, and released "Astral Transference & Seven Dreams" (2015) from it.
