The Micro Sun was used for 2 seasons (one winter). The Micro UV LED was used for only one season. They were used in a 60cm x 30cm tank. The Micro Sun is 28W. It's essential for keeping things warm in the winter and acts as a substitute for the sun. Just the Micro Sun isn't enough, as you'll still lack UV light, which can lead to illness, so the Micro UV is also necessary. (It's a popular UV LED light). Both are small lights, making them easy to arrange and not obtrusive. They've only been used for a year, so I believe they still emit UV light, but if the UV output diminishes (after about 2 years of use), you can buy a replacement bulb for the UV LED (around 5,000 yen), and the other parts can be used indefinitely. Keeping reptiles can be expensive due to the cost of lighting for temperature control.
