I made a reservation at the Ammonite Center and participated in a fossil excavation experience, where I unearthed these shell fossils. I wanted to find an ammonite fossil embedded in a rock, not just the ammonites you can buy anywhere, so I joined the experience. But, alas, I only managed to dig up shells. This is one piece of my disappointment. For some reason, there's also a single shark tooth mixed in. Oxidation prevention treatment applied. It's been about 4 or 5 years since I dug them up, but they seem to be in the same condition as when I found them.
