I purchased this unit new at the time. I used it a few times to finish a song by a professional musician and then kept it in its case. Therefore, there is no yellowing, scratches, dents, or rust. Like everyone else who has listed this item, the jog dial has some stickiness due to aging, and the memory battery low indicator blinks, hiding the F5 display. ⚠️ Please be sure to refer to the instruction manual when shutting down. It seems that many CD-RWs are not usable. I don't have any CDR, CD-RW data, audio CDs, or cleaners, so I can't confirm in detail, but since it can't read CDDA, it seems unusable. Also, there seem to be some units with operational issues, but the faders and effects during playback, as well as the previously written memory, all work. The switches and knobs also work. The published dynamic range value isn't that high, but the actual sound is completely different. Even now, if you listen to the uncompressed 24-bit recordings and analog output stored on this hard drive and check them with a monitor or DAW, you'll understand how amazing they are. I've also pursued newer MTR systems, but I've ended up selling them because I couldn't fix things at the recording stage, and the final sound quality ended up being 3-5 times different. The sense of realism and atmosphere is different. Since it's based on the industry-standard O2 series, it also has high-quality DAW-level effects and detailed advanced editing functions, so you can learn the basics of music production. Also, while listening to the whole track, the complex and rapid movements of the motorized faders can correspond to each track, and you can clearly see how even a subtle difference in sound pressure of about 1mm on the fader can greatly change the overall music. The all-in-one unit doesn't take much time to set up, has a reasonable number of channels, and is also suitable for those who record while traveling, as the luggage is minimal and the weight (9.5kg) is within an acceptable range. Two instruction manuals (with signs of use), a power cable, and a case are included. The case legs tend to come off easily, and I lost one during the recent move.
