The gentle color scheme, mainly pale pink, evokes a feeling of tenderness. Paul Hume visited Japan many times to observe the cherry blossoms for this design. Although it took many years to complete, it is highly regarded as a masterpiece of British tableware that expresses the spirit of Japan. Also, "Sakura Saku Mi wo Musubu" (Cherry blossoms bloom and bear fruit) has the meaning of "Good Luck" and is considered auspicious. ◎ Elizabeth Rose This is a set of two pieces. Both are made in England and have been carefully stored in a dark place. There are some minor black scuffs on the bottom, but otherwise, there are no major stains, and they are in beautiful condition. However, please understand that they have been handled by someone before. Especially the English-made ones are discontinued, and most are now made in China, so these are very valuable. They will be carefully cleaned, carefully packed, and shipped.
