CNC milled aluminum wheels for Mini 4WD. These are modified HG Low Height Heavy Aluminum Wheels II (reversible, 2 pieces) Mini 4WD Special Edition parts. They are a low-bite, aluminum dish-type design. The inner dish section has been milled down to 1.0mm, and then finished with a 12-fin design. The goal was to match the weight of plastic wheels. The edges and hub sections have also been milled down by 0.5mm. The weight per wheel is: Before machining: 6.9g After machining: 0.9g, resulting in a weight reduction of 6.0g. The aluminum wheels are precise, so selection is unnecessary! They weigh about the same as plastic wheels. The CNC milling process involves 4 steps: Top cutting → Internal excavation → Internal finishing → 12-fin cutting. This process takes more effort and time than designing wheels that prioritize aesthetics.
