This is an early 1980s Seymour Duncan SH-1n, a Duncan '59, from the period when the company began focusing on distribution. It's a "long leg," "big logo," paper sticker version. It's a pickup that's like the original Gibson PAF clone. Compared to current models, it's more subdued and lacks boominess, making it a fun pickup to play in the neck position. The sticker on the baseplate says "59NJ," which means 59 (model number), N (for neck position), and J (made by Maricela Juarez). She later became the manager of the Duncan Custom Shop and is a highly skilled individual. Screws and springs are included. Lead wire is approximately 37cm long.
