This is an original design alto horn mouthpiece pouch crafted from Maya Leather, a full vegetable-tanned nubuck leather from the Italian company IL PONTE. The surface has a scratch finish, giving it a matte appearance, but with age, the surface will become smoother, develop a sheen, and deepen in color. The scratch processing also allows for a rapid aging process, making this leather perfect for enjoying the changes over time. The actual color is more greenish than the images, closer to the color in image 7. Color: Turquoise Blue Stitching: Matching color Closure: Antique The pouch is made of sturdy leather, approximately 2mm thick, to protect the mouthpiece. A Japanese-made jumper hook is used for the closure to prevent it from opening during transport. The metal parts inside are double-layered with leather patches. Sewn finish for longer use.
